Franklin has been a train wreck over the last month. Becomes a rumored target for two schools. Fires his agent and hires Sexton.
He then seemingly lost all focus, repeatedly referencing the wrong opponent/stadium in press conferences. Then, his team is sinking rapidly. Looks like he couldn't handle the pressure of the situation.
Think PSU may have just told him to move on, we are not dealing with Sexton or getting in a bidding war.
