Day 1 ends with no pink slip. What say you Tiger fans?

Day 2 starts with some rumblings of wholesale staff changes, retirements, and blank checks (saw this on Tiger Rant).

Pelini won't be fired. If anything happens it will be him moving on to another job likely as a head coach. I think Nebraska proved he was a good coach with the results of their hires since.

They fired a winner in Solich only to not sniff 9 wins until they brought Bo in, and they did extremely well under him. Once he was let go, the program has cratered beyond belief.

Maybe Bo gets a job at a decent school as Head coach this year and helps solve this, but he isn't getting fired.

Perhaps you missed this season of LSU football, but there is not one single "decent" program that would even remotely consider Pelini as a DC, much less a head coach.

That's not happening. He was a Youngstown boy, got the Penguins to a national championship game, and even their fans were tired of him by the end of his tenure.

Pointing to his moderate success at Nebraska isn't proof of him being an in-demand coach for anybody else. And I'm actually in the camp of believing he's still a good coach.

Someone said the buyout reduces on 1/1/21? Not sure if true, but I’d damn sure put it off a couple weeks if he’s not willing to negotiate.

I for one say, this is what you waste one of your 5 annual posts? Checks out.

Asking a rabid fan base about their thoughts (and what they’re hearing) about a coordinator change is a waste of a post? If anyone wasted a post here it’s you with your pithy response, but pad YOUR post count by any means possible.

I have seen posted (but cannot confirm) that his buyout drops substantially after the first of the year? Is that true?

He may get the DC job at Cardinal Mooney High with big bro Carl.
