Worth noting that a certain trusted poster (don't want to call him out) was saying watch Riley's agent closely in the last week of Oct. Thread was whacked.
In other words, Riley was offered.
But if I remember right it pre-dated any TBL posts. So not that he scooped him, it is a form of corroboration however.

The private plane that traveled from Norman to BR yesterday says that this is real and not pointless. Why would he accept a job before his big game vs Baylor and let it leak to his team.

I have stated my current position. This is not a minute to minute call. We still have weeks before anything can officially happen.
Many things can change in those weeks. Things that are not in LSU's control.
Trust the process. It is more important to get the right guy than to save one recruting class.
I have said for weeks now, that it is Riley's job to turn down. Until I hear otherwise, I will not change my position on the flavor of the day.
