Actually no. There has been some questions as to whether O was even a good recruiter and I posted a few indications of his ability and how he's perceived as a recruiter. I also came across this:

I agree with that for sure. I just have to look at it as it happened for a reason that even the powers that be dont understand. . Maybe that reason is coach o. Maybe it gave us the opportunity to get Aranda and jimbo. Or Aranda and lane. Without the failure . We don't get Aranda

I solved this problem the first day people wanted O as perm HC. You hire the "big name" or proven guy and then just dub over his voice with Os. Boom! Problem solved.
