I never wanted Kiffin to begin with, so not a big revelation for me. The dude has always been an emotional head case and nothing is going to change that apparently. His ego is the most important thing to him.

I assumed everyone knew Aub would win this game coming off a bye while Ole Miss just played 4 SEC teams in 4 straight weeks. They're banged up.
I used to like Kiffin alot for us and I get the analytics of going for it on 4th down so much, but the dude has to be able to deviate from his analytics and make the right calls on 4th down. Its gonna be his downfall and I'm glad it wont be at LSU.

You think the analytics are the same at LSU? Obviously not.
Kiffin knew his team was tired and his starting QB was banged up. He doesnt play it conservative when he knows his only chance to win is to go for it.
People here are horribly reactionary, its astonishing how childish it all is.

He goes for it on 4th all the time due to his analytic chart. He's been doing it all season unless they had big leads. He went for it on 4th down 5 times vs Tulane and 6 times vs Austin Peay. Went for it against Bama early and took themselves out the game too quick. Its his philosophy right now. Can it change? Sure.

This isn't one game. It's a trend that we've seen over the course of the Bama, LSU and Auburn games. He's not ready for this level of pressure that comes with these games and trying to break into the top 10.
