If they did they would have used the work around the last raise but only did a one year extension.
It’s going to be closer to my prediction on contract size. He’s lured by the facilities and NIL is a huge key. We have it. OM not there yet.
Auburn actually wins the SEC and has played for and won the NC.
My concern is 10 days of leaks is not always good imo

What part of only 4 years can be public is hard to understand? He can be guaranteed through the athletic foundation as many years as desired. But it can't be public. Are you just trying to be difficult?

I've long said Kiffin isn't an elite coach despite the money he'll get. That's not really an insult, I like him and I think he's a very good coach. He'll just be overpaid.
Now might he get there? Perhaps. He's definitely got upside. But while I'm just a lowly AU alum, my argument would be that I don't need Kiffin to be in Kirby/Saban territory to get 10m. If he can come to Auburn and win 9.5-10 games a year, that's a substantial improvement for us that will likely get us our shots. It'll keep us in the hunt for at least a good bit of the year, and we'll very likely be more competitive with our rivals.
In short, Kiffin isn't worth 10-11m. But if he can maintain and build a little on what he's able to do at OM, he's worth 10-11m to us.

Same. Obviously you have the potential that he's just gunning for a big move from OM. But even if right now he's intent on the AU job, it's just a lot of time to have the topic publicly debated before it becomes reality.

Right
Low made it clear Lane is proud of the accomplishments at OM. Knows OM will come with raises but wants the money to go after and maintain a roster.

Why would any auburn fan be excited about Kiffin? Seriously what’s the longest stint he’s had as a head coach at a school? The dude doesn’t really seem like the kind of guy to be satisfied where he is after a few years and looks for greener pastures all the time. Why would you think your program would be any different?

Leaks, speculation, facts, just kind of used one word.
Chris Low has pretty good access, but he also said at the time no offer or any real discussion had taken place.
