Oh my, how the mighty have fallen. Was just doing a little research for my son for college and looked at the coaching staff for SFA. Couldn't believe Crowton is the OC there.

Didn't know that. I guess he got fired from that Burger King in Utah.

You all forget about 2007?
It was then he was a wizard.

From there the mighty has fallen.

I thought Southern Utah was worse. Looks like he is on the rebound.

Crowton had the best offenses in La. Tech history. Back then we were doing the bubble screen before the bubble screen was a thing.

So its good enough for your offspring, but a crappy assignment for Crowton. Nice

Whether it was good or bad for college football, you can thank Gary Crowton for being one of the originators of high powered offenses of what you see in the game today.

What an arse! Yes it is good enough for my son. But the fact you cannot understand a former head coach at La Tech, former OC for the Chicago Bears, head coach at BYU, OC at Oregon, LSU, Maryland and Winnipeg Bluebombers is now the OC at SFA is a huge fall in his career.

I went to SFA and never attended a football game. Highschool games have twice the turnout SFA games do

Crowton won us a ring in 2007. For that I will never shite on him. Our offense and playcalling that game was great.

After 2007 Crowton was about as highly regarded as an OC can get. There were rumors Saban would replace Applewhite with him. The rant melted at the thought.

Now his fall was fast and steep.

The career progression (or regression) of Gary Crowton makes zero sense to me. His resume looks so impressive until you hear how every fanbase wanted to get rid of him after about year 2 or 3.
