Lane knows just from LA, LSU has had teams with Nabors, Brian Thomas Jr, and Chase, Jefferson, Marshall and Odell, Jarvis all players from LA. He is drooling to have that kind of talent on offense in state.

You have to give Ole Miss props for getting ahead of the NIL game early but thats about to change. Bigger programs like LSU maybe were johnny come lately's but you still have to recruit and fill holes via portal. Its not sustainable to build a whole arse team by portal alone and Lane knows it.

Mississippi is 3rd behind #2 Louisiana in NFL players per capita and produces really good players. The population just isn’t there.

I didn't say it Lane did.
His point to the reporter was how all the transfers came in & worked so hard to get this Egg bowl win that means so much to the folks from Mississippi.
It's also an interesting fact when it comes to building a roster. And not the case if he takes the LSU job.
