No one has answered if that is offset by his new salary, which is pretty standard in contracts

Kiffin’s contract was very favorable to him. OM fans have said there’s no mitigation

I can’t find the actual contract but several reports state no mitigation duty.

Either way, this was handled poorly by Kiffin and OM. If the deal has been done, OM should have just made it public, that would have fast tracked him moving on.

Ole Miss gambled that they could change Lane’s mind by using the quaintness of Oxford. Obviously that wasn’t a smart play. Lane wants to coach a historical winner.
