No Games Left for O to prove himself

I think if O wins out he still hasn't proven anything.
A&M's QB is out for the season. Before that they were bad against the run.
Florida isn't good, and their Starting QB may be out.
Arkansas isn't good
I think we can and should win out, but I also think this isn't the hardest part of the schedule, and there were a lot of weak teams after Auburn

crazy how this year set itself up for a title run, if you really think about it.
all you had to do was score some pts against bama

We've moved on from O. Put a fork in him

the one saving grace of this Bama game is it killed the O momentum. I would never root for LSU to lose a game but long term we're much better off with someone else. Keeping O would be a disaster.

yup. Honestly, if O were coaching all season, we'd be in the top 5.

True.

gentleman's agreement with Herman and Jimbo.

Plenty of opportunities to prove he's a capable coach. But if he does prove it he still won't get the Lsu job. It's a top 10 program and O isn't a top 10'type coach. He can make a case for a shot at a mid major if he finishes strong though

I still think beating A&M at night on the road will be tough. Backup QB played better than Knight on Saturday. They have talent

imo, their back up QB is better than Knight, esp in a one game scenario. he's a better passer. he finished their year out last year and I was impressed with him. he's not a runner tho.
we will be beat up playing our gauntlet schedule. we probably will have some guys out as well.

Would we? Still think we lose to Wisconsin. Auburn is a toss up

Like bouncing back and winning out. That would put him at 12/3 as interim coach and I think considering Lsu was left for dead the turnaround would be enough to garner consideration from some programs

Yep
Every team sans Auburn is worse than they were expected to be and UF and A&M have so many injuries they are a shell of what they could have been.
Oh well

With the same QB's and offense, even if he was the coach did not use the QB as a threat against certain teams we would not be success against Wisky or Bama.

Proof? Or is that just another blabbler by you

Like I said, none of those teams impress me.
I also don't care about his record as Interim Coach because as of now he is only 4-3 vs teams with winning records. This includes Southern Miss. Basically he has beaten Stanford. And thats about it.

rankings don't mean shite. A&M was 4 last week and the lost to Mississippi fricking State. Thats overrated if i ever heard it. OH, then their starting QB got hurt.
Arkansas isn't good.
Go look at Florida's schedule and tell me which win makes you think they are good?
This schedule was set up for Les to save his job which is why we canned him. any a-hole could go 7-1 and 6-2 with this schedule and this team.

He's already proven all that he needed to. He had 2 weeks to prepare. Had a stale offensive gameplan with no ability to adjust during the game. Ontop of clock management issues. You'd think that our fans would've had enough of that shite by now.
