The great relationships with the HS coaches is another thing people still overrate the shite out of. These guys aren’t the gatekeepers they once were.

We've recruited the hell out of La so well with O I'm glad he started looking out of state. All the best teams do.

La just doesn't produce the elite QB, OL like other states consistently.

Man he’s no doubt a good coach but it’s like we aren’t allowed to NOT buy the hype

If the reports are true about LSU not even contacting Napier yet I would go to UF. That’s just disrespectful but would not surprise me that higher ups at LSU do not want U La La’s coach because of the in-state rivalry.
I doubt the reports though…. Woody is a smart guy and will do his homework.

Yeah. The kids' agents, I mean "uncles" are more important now.

We're going to take advice from a Michigan alum? Why don't we just let Detillier make the call?

Exactly. And now he’s not. When he was fired, it was done quickly and decisively and with great ease. Woodward gave him his 16 million like he was giving out bananas and lollipops. Now we’re in position to make a very large coaching coup.
See how simple that was?

But my point is what if he’s the next Spurrier. It going to be BACK to arse kicking days and there’s little that we’ll be able to do about it unless we happen to have our own Spurrier. What he is it though?

That has to be the dumbest reason to hire a coach that i have ever heard of. Where the fuk do you people come up with this crap? There’s an equal chance Napier is fired in 3 years at Florida than he is successful.

If you hire him, and he doesn’t work out, you simply get rid of him. Problem solved.

If, say, Florida hires him, and he turns out to be the next Saban, and you have to watch his team kick your team’s arse year in and year out, and you’re watching him win championships with regularity, how do you fix that problem?

What if we hire Napier, Florida hires Riley, Aranda, etc. and they proceed to kick our arse every year? You don't let another school's timeline dictate your own. It's like buying a house. Never get in a hurry.

You’re paying him $17 million because he coached the greatest team in CF history. Crazy how some of y’all love to say shite without any context. Unless Napier won a NC he wouldn’t have near that type of buyout and you move on to the next guy.

That is other people’s $17 million. I’m damn glad we had Orgeron for ‘19. Greatest damn year in LSU history. He deserves every damn cent for that year. I don’t mind him getting canned, but don’t tell me you’d be upset for another 2019 if it costs LSU another $17 million.
