Yeah one thing about Tucker that gives me pause is UGA's defense improved when he left. In coaches you should look at whether there has been improvement/drop off from when they leave one place and go to the other.

As others have said, rarely does the early club house leader get the job.

It makes perfect sense if you know is the real power broker at LSU. Apparently Vegas figured it out quickly.

because there's no way in hell Fickell leaves Ohio

I keep seeing this. Why do people think he won’t leave Ohio? He is almost in Kentucky now.

In this weird bubble we live in at LSU it doesn’t, but if you actually went out and did some research you would find that coming into this season Tucker seemed to be universally higher thought of than Aranda.

Same thing with Napier, because of this weird bubble we live and he’s the hot name, but there’s multiple people (LSU & non-LSU) that Chadwell at Coastal Carolina is a hotter name.

Aranda is good value here .

He should be no worse than Woodward’s 3rd phone call.

Fickell has never coached outside the state of Ohio on any level. And I don't see Franklin leaving Pennsylvania his home state.

We'll see what Tucker is made of in November. They have a tough schedule.

Makes perfect sense. Let’s hire the 20th best option and pass over a dozen qualified coaches because of skin color. That’s known as being racist.

Vegas is just guessing. They heard all the mel tucker talk.

Really depends a lot of the money and guarantees involved especially paying $17 million for former coach to keep mouth shut.

Tucker is a hard one to read right now. Was Colorado and first season more of the norm or is this one? Throw in Colorado just being one season and last year Wuhan and late start for Big 10 (also Tucker a February hire).

If like Michigan State Tucker requires more than predecessor again it’s pretty risky, but having to go higher than Dantonio may been in part due to Dantonio retiring in February.

Will know a little more in 2 weeks, but he is one I would definitely like to see how current season finishes.

Let’s be racist LSU!! Hire a man that isn’t qualified excuse if this woke culture. You hire the wrong coach they all will lose their job when ticket is fired in 2 years.

My fat finger down voted you but I agree 1000%. Mel Tucker is your next coach no doubt in my mind. Tigerbaitlawyers hints point directly at him. “Called Saban”. “Welcome home” sorry baws it’s Mel
