5 year contract. Max first year salary at $1.47 million. They're really going for it.

Nice. I think Napier gets up to 1.5 his first year. Pretty darn good for the SunBelt I'd guess

What were we supposed to learn? They paid him well and when it became clear that he couldn't regain his magic, he was fired.

This is a good hire. Napier has upward trajectory. Giving him a large assistant pool will help tremendously. His familiarity with recruiting in Louisiana is a plus as well.

Keep a list handy. Ideally he's hired away in 2-3 years.

He should go after Chevis Jackson to be part of his staff.

Also Hudpseth went 51-38 and had five bowl appearances! It was time for him to go but he was a successful hire

I want him to keep Desormeaux, go bring Lamar Morgan home from ULM, and bring Rob Sale with him from ASU. Other than that, I'm wide open to suggestions.

Time to go get Rob Sale now. Pretty impressed with the commitment they have for football. Just gotta see if it pays off.

Herm made a statement mentioning some assistants and didn't mention Sale. Could mean he's coming, or could mean Herm just doesn't know who he works with.

After vacated wins, he was technically only 28-38.

So only wins get vacated? Doesn't the whole game get vacated?
