If Charlie Weis is Fired who will be Notre Dame's next coach.

Brian Kelly, Cincinasty won't be able to outbid schools looking for his service.

Before they flat can charlie, they need to get Tenuta the frick out of there for a year and see what happens. He's abysmal

Charlie has actually done a pretty damn good job with their offense, especially in terms of developing Clausen

Urban has nothing more to accomplish at UF, he's won 2 titles, may win a 3rd. He could build ND into a national power again

If Urban stays at UF, he could become one of the greatest coaches of all time. He has the train rolling like few ever have so why get off and make a change like that?

and if he went to ND and won a title there, he'd build an ever stronger case of being one of the greatest coaches ever

He's a good enough coach to do it, but clearly the talent centers in the US have shifted to the sun belt states. ND can recruit nationally, but Florida churns out the types of players that are perfect for Meyer's system. I just find it unlikely he'd give up a job like Florida, especially considering where he has them right now and for the forseable future

He says ND is still his dream job. I bet he will bolt for there.

i agree to a point, but ND has been a place Meyer wanted to coach at for a long time. Spurrier left Florida, Donovan left....though he came back

Coaches can get restless at times and want more of a challenge, I think Meyer would def leave if it was offered

Kelly would be dumb to go to ND. Most coaches would be dumb to go there.
