Give me Aranda over Riley. Riley’s OU teams are soft as shite. Now their offenses are being consistently exposed.

Aranda really showed great growth as a HC this year. He will continue to do that whether he goes to LSU or USC.

The bonus is that you would get a guaranteed W every year against Riley when they come to the SEC. Dave owns him.

A 10-9 coach over a 54-9 coach? I love Aranda and would love to see him back, but Riley is more proven especially at the QB position.

I agree, Riley is soft. His teams are mentally fragile as well as physically weak.

His team knows he is leaving and they quit on him.

Should speed up the timeline.

Without question, and yes Riley's teams are soft. Should have lost to Tulane, Kansas, and Iowa State. Could have very easily lost to Texas. Baylor was ugly.

Transfers. The two this year have been subpar.

Not sure how to define "soft". If you mean "physical" Michigan State is physical. I haven't watched as many games this year but the Big 10 usually has a few teams other than Ohio State that are not soft.

I’m tired of all the BS around Riley, get the real white whale ( beluga whale Aranda, lol ) back to LSU.

Yeah... I wouldn't go that far.

But Riley has his flaws. I like Aranda better. Yes he's 10-9, but I'm willing to give him a pass on last year. Taking over a team in 2020 was an excessively monumental task. How are you supposed to install your offense and defense without a spring practice? The fact that they were even competitive in their games is a miracle. Now that Dave's had a chance to put in some work he's got a pretty good team, and he's done it with a bunch of 3 star players. Coming into today his offense is ranked 19th and his defense 44th. Dave is getting it done. He's solid. There may be some questions about his recruiting, but recruiting is a team effort. He's also well respected. So top coordinators should be willing to work for him. I think Dave has the best chance of giving us the dynasty that we want. Both his floor and his ceiling are high.

Always felt this way about DA. He can handle the defensive side of the football . coaches will want to come work for him, LSU does not have to clean house on the O side, I don’t have a clue who Scott will hire , man I wish I had his phone number.. ha
