Give me Aranda over Riley. Riley’s OU teams are soft as shite. Now their offenses are being consistently exposed.

Aranda really showed great growth as a HC this year. He will continue to do that whether he goes to LSU or USC.

The bonus is that you would get a guaranteed W every year against Riley when they come to the SEC. Dave owns him

Welcome to team Aranda! I hope we are celebrating in a few weeks!

Yep, SEC schedule would be tough for them. They are super soft.

Riley's teams look like world-beaters most times when he has a clear talent advantage. It's like Tyson when he was knocking people out inside of a minute. People thought he might be the best boxer ever. No one bothered to look at his competition.

How's Riley done vs teams of equal or greater talent? Not well. From what I can see his best win was an early-season game vs #2 Ohio St in his first season as HC. Every other big game since then he's lost.

So the story of his career is spectacular vs most regular-season opponents, poor vs equally or superiorly talented teams, and inexplicably will drop a game a year vs a team that on paper shouldn't compete with him. That's what his resume has been so far, a lot like early Mike Tyson.

Riley is more proven especially at the QB position.

I think Dave Aranda is the best pick we could get, and don’t know why waiting around is called for. We need him and for recruiting this year. He is a brilliant mind and would only have the best kind of assistants. I really think he is our best shot for long term success and NC this decade. I really think he is all class.

Get Aranda or watch Alabama get Aranda when Saban retires...
My lord, the melt we'd all have...

OP is 100% correct Riley is not a great coach. Good? Yes. Great? No. That is why he gets so exposed after the Big 12 year in and year out.
