i really hope he has, because if he interviewed during game week and didn't get it he'd deserve to be bitch slapped. especially with the way the D has been playing. good riddance

Completely untrue. All of it. Pelini needs to get through an interview, which isn't his strong suit. He's bombed terribly on the 3-4 jobs he went into as the leading candidate for. And Turner is not coming back to Nebraska in any coordinator capacity. His interview helps Nebraska fill the minority interview requirement, gets him more money from Buffalo and helps appease the portion of the boosters that want Gill as the next HC.

How long does an interview take? Are you saying the only thing he should do this week is prepare for UT? Should he not eat, sleep, talk to wife, play with his kids?

Please let this be true...

Who cares what he does as long as he carries his arse?
He ain't kinfolk, he doesn't care about LSU.

Why would a prestigious school like Nebraska gamble on a coach with no head coaching experience and who defense just gave up 50 points to a run dominated offensive team like Arkansas?
Posted on 11/25/07 at 7:35 pm to BaronD
They would gamble because frankly, no big time coach wants to start with the shambles that Callahan has left. Why they choose to take a chance on Pellini instead of say, Muschamp is beyond me. Pellini is clearly a shitty coach.

Idk but don't tell them that or they might not take him?

b/c they know Les is a control freak and won't leave his assistants along to do their jobs

Seriously if this is true what does LSU do for a DC this sat?
Posted on 11/25/07 at 10:41 pm to sabbertooth
If Bo Pelini leaves the linebacker coach most likely moves too DC, can't be any worse. If he leaves let him take OC with him.

I agree. We should average FAR more than 40 pts. a game.
