Does anyone here remember Darryl Johnson or Nick Child? They were supposed to be our Sean Taylor and Champ Bailey. Not saying PJ will not be good, but just realize it's hard for true freshman to play, much less start and that redshirting is a real possibility.
you can't compare tho...
there is no way patrick johnson is red shirting. the kid is too good to keep off the field, especially with LSU's situation at cornerback. eric berry tore it up as a true freshman corner at tenn and johnson is a better prospect than barry was. he's going to be phenomenal...
we tried Scott in a similar situation against uk and failed
somebody, i can't remember who, missed a blocking assignment. scott would have had it had the block been made. i remember miles saying it after the game and then seeing it on replay after he mentioned it...
This may be the case, but look how far he still got in the tournament. This loss is going to motivate Federer. He knows that he can be beat on the big stage and, as a result, he will now be on a mission the rest of this year. I think Wimbledon is a given, but I wouldn't be surprised if he won...
what was LSU previously? did they move up at all?...
nice bump, northwestern tiger is a dumbass ...
les choosing someone else from outside the staff is another possibility. i'm just saying that if tenuta was his man i really doubt he'd lose him to auburn....
if auburn pulls tenuta i'm going to assume that miles had planned on promoting from withing all along. lsu should be able to beat out aubbie fairly easily...

re: Petrino is overrated.......
Will people shut up about this. Petrino will do a great job at Arky. Maybe not this year or the next, but when he gets his players and they bite into his system, he will be a force in the SEC.
based on what? he was a force in CUSA and the big east with louisville but he never eve...
i don't mean to rain on your parade. i think you guys will improve, you might even have a possible NC chance every once in a while similar to Mizzou or Kansas this year. i just don't think that arkansas has a strong enough recruiting base to be a consistent power and i'm tired of hearing people frea...
The problem with ARK is that they don't pump out as much talent as other states on a yearly basis. Every 3 or 4 years, the team is going to be really good. I just think this is the norm.
i think this is what most people are overlooking with the petrino to arky thing. i see it as b...
Arkansas has marginal talent at best and it right in the middle of recruiting territories for both Big 12 and SEC powers. It's unlikely that recruiting will improve much and Petrino is not knows as being a great recruiter.
i think petrino at arkansas will be similar to spurrier a...
