you can't compare those two to patrick johnson, they're nowhere near the same caliber recruit. many people consider patrick johnson to be the best cornerback prospect of the modern recruiting era.

i agree, i think this loss is only going to solidify his dominance in the remaining slams this year. i wouldn't be surprised to see him win the french after this. he's not really falling off yet, he was making uncharacteristic mistakes the entire tournament.

i don't mean to rain on your parade. i think you guys will improve, you might even have a possible NC chance every once in a while similar to Mizzou or Kansas this year. i just don't think that arkansas has a strong enough recruiting base to be a consistent power and i'm tired of hearing people freak out, including scared LSU fans. petrino didn't dominate the big east with superior talent, i really don't see why people should be afraid of him. good for arkansas though, i've always liked arky

Arkansas has marginal talent at best and it right in the middle of recruiting territories for both Big 12 and SEC powers. It's unlikely that recruiting will improve much and Petrino is not knows as being a great recruiter.

i think petrino at arkansas will be similar to spurrier at south carolina. fans and the media will make noise about him turning them into a power, but the results won't quite play out that way
