People don’t understand this. They think everything has to be a sit down with clients. Interviews can happen virtually. It doesn’t take more time than a radio interview. People are so narrow minded.

Only an idiot would believe that LSU boosters and donors would fork out the kind of money they did to pay our coaches buyouts in order to go after billy napier at ull. That is just crazy and would not happen. Thats why i know its not napier.

It's a fluff piece that just so happens to be followed by some musings about how he would probably really love to be the coach at Virginia Tech or LSU. Agents do not give a frick about fan message boards. There are so many "agents" here primarily because you all apparently feel the need to post hundreds of messages about how Napier actually sucks because he works for Lafayette and he didn't beat Arkansas State by 40 the only time I have ever seen one of his teams play. He's unanimously in the top 3 young head coaches outside of this board.

It's so flagrant that it's honestly hilarious. "Industry sources" (aka Sexton) don't think he'll be a lifer. This industry source also DEFINITELY didn't tell me to name drop Virginia Tech and LSU.
It is quite a good fluff piece though. Hard to read it and not think Napier is the next best thing since sliced bread.

You have to be joking if you don't think Woodward has been vetting top coaches for weeks, and at least talking to agents.
Woodward isn't going put candidates at major programs on hold, but tell ULL "frick y'all, I'm talking to Napier now" just because they're ULL.
