Except he is at Baylor in a P5 conference and considered one of the most brilliant DCs in the game because he runs his defense like an offense.

USL has struggled THIS SEASON against shitty sunbelt competition after people like you have self proclaimed that he has landed the number 1 recruiting class in the Sunbelt the last 3 seasons. There are coaches in his OWN CONFERENCE that are far better than him.
He has a high school offense in a JUCO conference.

Can I just not want Napier because I'm concerned about the transition to the SEC?
If he were winning big like he is at TCU, I'd be all over it.
I feel like it's illegal on here to point out that Napier needs a bigger job than LSU. He's done awesome at ULL btw. It would just be nice to see him prove it in a bigger conference with better teams first

As long as its ok for people to want him and not have to get bombarded with people saying its the same thing as O and its a ONE OF US hire...its a stupid argument and makes the person saying it look like an idiot.

What is a Cajun? Yeah, one of us. And not only is he currently coaching us Cajuns, he has (supposedly) turned down multiple offers to not be One of us!
He coaches in Lafayette, but constantly appears on BR media shows. How much more One of us can you get? Saban was one of us, how often is he on BR media? Jimbo? Aranda? Tucker? What about other Cajun coaches, are they ever on BR media regularly? Hell, the Tulane coach is just down the road the other way, is he ever on BR media?
Anyone denying that the Napsters are taking full advantage of the lil coach down the road, they are the ones coming off as buffoons.

I'm generally concerned for your mental stability if we actually hire Napier, youve been melting all over the board at the mention of his name for weeks now.
He is not my #1 but I can recognize that he is a good coach who could do good things here. It has nothing to do with him already coaching in Louisiana.

he's not on there getting press for ULL, they barely discuss them. Jordy mostly asks questions that get Billy to elaborate on tProcess 2.0 so he can do his Saban impression for the listeners. He's on there to promote himself.

Don’t worry. I’ll be fine. I melted when O was hired because I knew the inevitable. It is interesting that I keep getting the same number of down votes - 3/4 for every negative post. If that fluctuates a little it is because they’ve figured out that you can downvote more than once. There are about 4-5 people and their alters actually pumping this guy. Nearly everyone is completely against it because he hasn’t proven a damn thing except barely beating terrible teams in his conference.

Oooo beat Iowa state early in a season that everyone knows didn’t count. Go look at who else ISU played to see how great they were then. They were not the same team as they were at the end.
Secondly, there are only 4 consistent idiots on here that think USL is “dominating” their conference. Butch Jones owned his arse as far as coaching in the game they played despite the fact that USL won. He is FAR better coach and we saw what he did at Tennessee.
Against 5 of the 8 wins he has this season those teams that have a 17-28 record. He beat them by a COMBINED 18 points. That’s some amazing Les Miles shite there. Yet y’all keep telling us he has this awesome offense and he is “Saban like”. fricking man hasn’t proven a damn thing - PERIOD. I’m not saying he isn’t a good coach. I’m saying he hasn’t proven enough to warrant a shot at LSU. Let him go to Vandy and prove he can coach in the SEC. this is EXACTLY why Orgeron should not have been hired as some of us pointed out in multiple threads.
