Napier vs Chadwell

You do realize that CC is the highest level of football Chadwell has coached, right? See link if you want my previous response to Napier vs Chadwell. But be warned it’s not gonna support your position very well

I see one is a head coach that's continuously moved up

The other was sabans coffee boy and got fired from one OC position and underperformed to the extent that the head coach got fired at the other

Cool. LSU isn't under any obligation to do him "a favor" and put the future of the program in his less-than-proven hands. And maybe he shouldn't have punched his boss in the face.

NFL coaches visit Chadwell every offseason to study his offense

The RCAF has a huge role in all of that as far as the money goes. I believe that was started in the Hud years. But make no mistake, Napier has really transformed this program into a top tier G5 organization from the top down. Look at Lourdes' donation for the stadium upgrades. They could have done that 20 yrs ago, but not until Napier was the coach. It's a whole different feeling than before. They gave him complete control of the program and look at it now. His genius goes well beyond what you see on the field.

ULL basically sold naming rights to their new stadium for a million a year for 15 years.

That donation is worth less then an additional money game that Napier refuses to play so he can boost his resume

You hire Napier for what he does off the field rather than on.

It's also significantly more creative then running dive plays out of the pistol after making 7 shifts

How much longer are you guys going to buy into all these offers Billy supposedly gets from P5 schools but he doesn’t accept them for one reason or the other??

And they did so very happily. UL played Texas this year, Iowa State and Ms State last year. At the end of the day what's more important? National recognition by being ranked, or getting an extra $500,000 to be blown out by Bama?

You're making points nobody wants to talk about because most don't actually watch ULL/Sun Belt football. It's Les Miles ball in the shotgun.

Jesus Christ people. This is the same crap that led to Orgeron. Same people likely doing it as well. I bet if I go back and look at your posts you were a Cheerio

Of course, "I don't like this coach so therefore everybody who thinks he good was an orgeron pumper." Nevermind that he was Florida's FIRST call...

Even with the Florida thing

It's a done deal (AND he has another offer from VA tech)

Then today it's off the table because "he's waiting for LSU"

Dude has a great agent

That being said, Napier over Stoops in a walk

Watch him end up at ULL for another year.

(I kid, but that would really amuse me.)

According to what? It’s just as likely that was leaked to try and force LSU’s hand

The way this Napier thing has gone is EXACTLY what happened with the local media and Ed.

Yet he’s not named for any of the big-time CFB openings! You guys want Napier to cut his teeth at lower P5, so let Chadwell get some upper P5 OC experience first!
