LOL Pittman isn’t even making $4M and he has taken Arkansas from cellar dweller to potential Citrus/Outback Bowl in year 2. He will surely get a raise, but just shows you can still get value if you aren’t lazy in selecting your coach.

I mean $2M a year at Louisiana isn’t peanuts. He was also offered an extension at $3.2M a year.

That’s a chunk for a technically unproven coach. We didn’t even give O that after a natty. I think he’s a good coach, but I’d be kinda pissy about that contract if he had come here.

The most recent 50 year history of Arkansas football is that, (almost) regardless of the coach, they cycle up every 5-7 years. They go from doormat-to pretty good-back to door mat.

I think very highly of Napier and think he will do well but damn that is a bit much imo.

Pretty impressive when you triple your pay, especially when you’re already making 2 million, he’s got a lot to prove in the SEC but the state of Florida is always loaded with talent.

Napier is going to do a really good job at UF…Already established recruiting ties all over LA and in the Houston area. Him and Saban are going to be cherry picking the hell out of LA.
