Riley's agent was negotiating with LSU to get the most money out of USC. Hard for the media to know LSU is getting played. They just knew that both sides were ironing out the details of the contract.
Tom Herman had a handshake deal with LSU to become the next HC. Happened the week of the last game. Texas firing Strong blew it all up.

I said this… meaning, heard it but didnt trust it. They did in fact come in yesterday and it was in fact positive. Im not trying to be some “insider” just passing along and trying to be practical.

I 100% agree. But thats just where things are as of yesterday evening. I dont post much, mostly lurk and laugh. Not a big poster anywhere, just passing along info I trust, and yeah its not “HE IS COMING” bc only Lane probably knows the truth there.
