Well, either you’re lying or some of these players are lying. I, personally, know 2 players for Ole Miss and they have both told me that Lane has continued to reinforce that fact that he’s not going anywhere. That his message from the beginning has not changed.
That's the entire storyline from the players and the other coaches on the staff.
Granted most currently feel like Lane is a lying piece of shite after the Friday meeting though.

Look where his finger is pointing at.

He won’t comment on jobs until after the season is over.
This only makes sense if he's leaving or is strongly considering leaving.

That’s been his position for literally ever.

He may stay at OM, but he has hurt himself with a lot in the fan base, and some in the locker room. If he stays, but they lose the first round of playoffs, he’ll have a lot of making up to do with the fans. I think he’d be putting himself in a situation where he better make a deep run.

My only info comes from OM player(s)…
No…no it doesn’t. Your only information comes from just making shite up.

As much as Kiffin LOVES trolling, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he stayed at Ole Miss.

Lane's bringing him back to LSU. As a cautionary tale

Kiffin might weigh 350 lbs if he stays at LSU too long

Why is he holding up a "loser" hand signal?
Almost like grown men barking like a mutt at other grown men.

Lmao…because it makes sense for Lane to tell them he is not staying and for them to shut their mouth, act happy and tell no one

From what I’ve been told, Lane (and university officials) are just having fun watching all the fake news that continues to be “reported”. I guess time will tell.
This is by far the dumbest take I’ve read. There is absolutely zero reason to go through this if you plan on staying. It makes Ole Miss look not good enough even if he stayed. The best case scenario for them would have been to sign extension and move on. Not go into a circus to watch others jockey to steal their coach.
He may or may not come to LSU but he damn sure isn’t staying at Ole Miss

I think he’s coming to Baton Rouge. That said, word from Oxford is the players and coaches are business as usual. There’s a quiet confidence going into the Egg Bowl and playoffs.
