Ok, well don't be a stranger. Missed reading your arguments with some of the other posters.

Reason I was asking about Bill King was that discussion he had on Les Miles a couple of weeks back on his show. It could have been a month ago. There was a thread about it on the rant. I wanted to get your take on what Bill said because I know you usually agree with him from what I remember. I can't exactly remember what was said word for word.

Even if Muschamp can salvage part of this UT class in a very short period of time, he would still be in for a very tough job. UT survived this year on a good D with no depth. They were fortunate that they played mediocre teams down the stretch when they started having injury problems. We all saw what happened when they played a good team in their bowl game. It could take another two years to fully replenish their roster thanks to the SEC's new hard signing cap. Don't think Muschamp won't take this into account. Like Chip Kelly at Oregon, he has a good thing going, and will walk into a top 5 job on day one. That is a VERY RARE position to be in.

Sometimes I'm just not in the mood to argue with some of these motherfrickers on here.

Bill has never really thought much of MIles. He thinks Miles is goofy, like a lot of people do. I've heard him being critical of him this fall.

Yeah, I agree with you. It's not worth the time.

Texas and Florida are the two best jobs in the country when you include everything

Its not worth it to take the Tenn job. Become HC at UTenn and do well, miss out on being Texas HC when the job comes up. Become the UTenn HC and suck and lose your luster and Texas passes you over. Also, it would mess with recruiting because every recruit would think you would bolt for UT if the opportunity came around. Texas job in the bank is worth more than Tenn job now.

Besides, word is that Mack will finish out his contract and become AD in two or three years.

Depends on what he's says specifically.I've always thought Miles was goofy and passive. I don't give a shite about the coach as much as I do about the results.

Maybe a HC stint at UT-Knoxville would be good for his career. He could always leave to return to UT-Austin.

Muschamp only makes 900K at Tex.. even if he was HC his contract states it would pay him 2 mil if it were 2010 and up to 2.5 if it was 2012.. so Tenn pays that now, Kiffin was at 2mil this year

Tennessee today is better than Texas seven years from now.

fify....If I were Muschamp I would jump to that job. It is a high profile job with everything he needs to be successful. I wouldn't wait on Texas, unless I knew for a fact it was within 3 years. It won't be, Mack will hang on for a bit. He can win titles at Tenn just like he could at texas.

Tennessee would be a better fit for Muschamp than Texas IMO.

Muschamp better hope that UT isn't about to get hit with sanctions from the former crew's antics.

Tennessee needs to save face, and make a bold move. I think they do what it takes to get Muschamp.

Weren't those small violations? If SC hasn't been hammered yet what makes you think some secondary self reported violations is going to bring the house down?

If anyone needs to worry it is Kiffin.

You're making a huge assumption that the UT clowns self-reported everything.

lol.....I was asking you. I hadn't heard the situation was that bad but I don't know all. I doubt they are in that bad a situation already. If Kiffin learned one thing it was how to keep it quiet and knew how to clean up behind the scenes. Don't you think.......
