He is really in a win win thanks to the Florida money. It seems like his passion really is coaching. He can jump right in before the bowl game and being making as much as lots of head coaches when you count in the Florida money.

A few years of rehab and he will probably be up for a really good HC job again.

Of course, I say this because I really want him at Auburn!

Would he not lose the Fla. money when he signs a contract with another school?

Unlike most recent CFB buyout clauses, his (apparently) did not contain the language that payments would be reduced by the amount of money made at another gig. Boom should get his $6 million from UF and whatever he makes somewhere else.

Nope. UF has to pay him regardless of his current employment.

Wow, that's kind of shocking. I thought Foley had a reputation of being a a bit of a cheap arse.

The SEC West is a much more difficult arena than the SEC East. It is more difficult than when Muschamp coached in the SWC West before, and much harder than the Texas gig. He should do well, but the SEC West is the ultimate test of skills.

We put up more yards on Muschamp this year than Auburn put up on Bama this past Saturday.

Easy to do when UF D was on the field nearly the whole game...lol...just shy of 40 minutes...

A bad offense is off the field faster than a good HUNH one. Plus people can't seem to understand that after awhile players on Defense don't play as hard if the offense doesn't score.

No official word out of AU yet. They're still working out personnel. Muschamp wants Travaris Robinson to come with him, for one thing.
