3-6 in the PAC12. Finished tied for last in his division.
He went 11-2 last year and lost most of the talent. It is just WSU after all

Roll into Starkville with Schrader at QB
Shrader has a lot of potential. He was 3-0 as a starter for us as a freshman

My thing with leach is it’s going to take some years to get his personnel in. I just don’t see MSU giving him time to do it. His first three season at Washington State went like this
1st season: 3-9
2nd season: 6-7
3rd season: 3-9
1st season: 3-9
2nd season: 6-7
3rd season: 3-9

ML system is just like any other modern system. You need a QB. Being in Spokane, he has done well. That part of the country is void of diversity.

Not in the SEC, guarantee it.
In any conference.
Leach, when switched on, is a genius. The one problem I'd have with Leach is consistency. His teams will take down a great team and then lose to a shitty one.
He's not always switched on.

Washington State had a terrible roster when he got there, obviously that was going to take time.

Well don't act like the man can't find one. In fact, everybody in the SEC passed up his QB from MS.
Minshew enrolled as a graduate student at Washington State in the fall of 2018. He became immediately eligible under the NCAA's graduate transfer rules.
Minshew helped lead Washington State to a school-record-breaking 11 wins in 2018. In his third game as the school's starting quarterback, he passed for a career high 470 yards and a school record 78.9% completion rate in a 59–24 victory over Eastern Washington. On November 17, he threw for 473 passing yards and broke another school record with seven passing touchdowns against Arizona.[6] At the end of the 2018 regular season, Minshew led FBS in pass completions (433), pass attempts (613), passing yards per game (367.6) was second in passing yards (4,477) and finished in the top five with 38 touchdowns.[7] During Washington State's Alamo Bowl win over Iowa State, Minshew claimed the Pac-12 single season record for most passing yards, a record previously held by Jared Goff
Minshew was a 56% passer his whole career until Leach. Under Leach, he was 71%

He's not always switched on.
that's a really good way to describe him
which is funny considering his infamous locker room speech at TTech
frick you, frick me, and frick everything

That above average for Washington State.
Washington state is probably the hardest place in the country to recruit at. It's in the middle of absolute no where

Leach to MSU.
Felipe Franks to follow.
Serious though- every QB and WR in the South will take another look at State.

I was a big Leach fan before the season. Spent most of the fall working in the Northwest and watched several WSU games. It was the first time I watched a Leach team over time. If MSU gets him, well your paying alot of money for a blind devotion to the passing game and a quirky personality.

Every fanbase should be rooting for leach vs freshwater egg bowls.
That is some great tv.

Spokane is 1 1/2 hours away.

Maybe you miss understood what I am saying. I think he has done well, and could attract better talent at MSU.

Leach would be a great hire for moo state. But probably not a great career move for him. MSU in the sec west is playing against a stacked deck. He should hold out for an sec east job like Carolina , Uk, or Tennessee to open up.

He needs to stay at WSU so we never lose another Apple Cup. I don’t get the love for this guy. He’s interesting because he’s on the spectrum. His offense is easy to defend. He has no defense. Yet people want him. Look closer.

He made Texas tech and Washington state competitive and relevant. Programs with limited resources and tough situations. Much like MSU.

The Egg Bowl needs to be renamed. It should now be called the Jefferson Parish-Jean Lafitte "Freshwater Pirate Bowl".

He's entertaining and squeezes every drop out of the talent he gets. A good fit for programs where they don't expect to win championships.
