Reading between the lines on everything that’s happened so far and everything I’ve seen since this news broke: I believe Drink and Mizzou are agreeing on an extension with a significantly increased buyout and bigger assistant pool. His salary will likely remain unchanged, but there will be commitments to increased funding for the program.
I don’t know anything, but I’m 95% certain this meeting means Drink is staying at Mizzou.
