Miles moving to AD would be perfect solution
But for LSU? Like he would pick coaches for all of our sports teams? He would be in charge of a budget.. as in real money? That is more like a nightmare scenario.

Well he was an Eco major at mich. he has some semblance of business knowledge.

I know there have likely been bigger idiots running Athletic Departments at major universities, but I think you would be hard pressed to find one who was successful. Plus his communication skills are horrendous. Could you imagine him if some scandal broke out with one of the teams? He would suddenly be the face of LSU and the point person with the NCAA.

i think he would be a better AD than a coach actually and he has been a good coach, not great but good.
Tell him to hire Gary Patterson to replace him please!!!

This isn't a horrible idea.
NO need to make on-the-spot decisions. Don't lose any/as many recruits. A sense of power to qualm that ego. No live interviews..
I'm in.
Seeing if the domain name is available now..

Don't ever mess with Les. But, if y'all want to name him Head Coach and AD for life, we'd be good with it.

There is entirely too much talent on the field to be 9-3 and 8-4 the last two seasons. Right, wrong, or indifferent, the facts are the facts here.

Plus winless in SEC for a year, and worse record than les in a few more
But hey, lets focus on their positives

Miles graduated from Michigan with an economics degree and makes more money than most the retards on here that cant even put a complete sentence together.
He would be a good candidate, but for now im fine with him as the coach. I do think Alleva needs to gtfo out though.
Id like to point out that Skip Bertman was our AD. He received a degree in physical education from Miami. The athletic programs were fine under him.

The hatred makes these people completely distort the facts to fit their own warped reality.
Just substitute "Blind LSU Program Worship and Mediocrity Acceptance" for "Hatred" in that sentence.

That's the Sunshine Boys personified. They're such rabid program worshippers that they can't see the trees for the forest.
Kiss it. Pump it. Love it. Accept the decline and make excuses/defend it.

I thought last season was 10-3?
A coaching staffs primary responsibility is to place a team in position to be successful. I don't see how an sane person can look at the last 15 yrs of outstanding success and not note that, with a few exceptions, the LSU football teams have been in that position a hell of a lot more times than not.
