Well, the Saints are in quite the predicament … or are they? Mike McCarthy became the latest candidate to pull out of the team’s search for a new coach. Now, the only one left on the list who has been actively pursued by Mickey Loomis and company is Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

This one doesn't seem like the Brady situation, I don't think the Saints were very interested and seem to be zeroing in on Moore. This was more of a take your name out before someone else gets the job.

Now if Moore declines, that will be a big lol

That is not what happened but sure.

The saints showed barely any interest in him .

Ain’t nobody telling the saints no. Who wouldn’t want to work for such a prestigious organization in the crown jewel of American cities

Johnson was going to the Bears and Glenn was going to the Jets. I think that these other guys who are reportedly telling the Saints no realize they are on the back burner. I would be okay with Moore.

Regardless of if Mike told them no or not, I would be concerned that Loomis’s reputation is preceding him so much that no established or highly sought after coach will say yes to him.

Don`t you know how coaching hires work.Any time a coach says he`s
not interested it means he`s not getting the job and tries to save face.
Mickey wasn`t going to offer him the job.

Does it matter who coaches the Saints? We all know that team will suck for decades to come no matter who's at the helm. And I for one I'm happy
