If they're talking to Holgorsen, I have to imagine they've been in contact with Gundy.
IMO, the push is for Jimbo Fisher and every other big name is being kept as quiet as humanly possible.

There are a lot better candidates out there better than Gundy.
If not Jimbo, Herman, or Fleck, hopefully these guys get a look
John Grass: Jville St
Mike Houston: James Madison
Bryan Harsin: Boise St
K.C. Keeler: Sam Houston state
Matt Thule: Temple
Jeff Brohm: WKU
All these guys are offensive minded guys, except Mike Houston that are all still fairly young.
I know none of them have been a HC at a major stop, but as I see it, all the "big names" will cost a pretty penny. So if the Fishers/Hermans of the coaching world don't work out, LSU could take a huge hit in the financial dept that could put the program in a hole that could take a while to get out of.
We could get these 2nd tier guys a lot cheaper and I wouldn't consider any of them a gamble

My reasoning is sustaining a shite program through ups and downs, younger than Fedora - age isn't too much of a factor, but Fedora is 54 - and Fedora isn't some game changer.
