#Arkansas RBs coach Jeff Traylor is interviewing this week for head-coaching vacancy at Stephen F. Austin, his alma mater, according to sources. Heard #LSU wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph is also in the mix at SFA.

He’s the reason both Chase and Emery are here.

That would be a pay cut, huh? Can't imagine they're offering more than about 150

Just because somebody can recruit doesn’t mean they can coach.
Previous SFA coach was making 200k.

No one I've spoke too has been impressed with our receivers production this season. He appears to be a recruiter moreso than a coach. This is further backed up by having to tutor him with another coach this year.
I'd rather someone who can coach the position over a recruiter at this point, we dont have problems pulling talent here but the drops and lack of seperation was a huge problem.

So you're blaming Jeff Traylor for that play? Ok, cool.

I'll do whatever it takes to get Mickey that job.

Yep Traylor looks terrible. Sounds like they should go with Joseph.

He's been a HC before. Just going off his bio and coaching history it doesn't seem like an outlandish idea.

I saw him coach a couple games at Langston several years ago. He ran a clean program and his players love him. Really good dude.

Jefferson has looked good. I think our receivers problem is the constant swapping. They need to stay on the field and get in a rhythm.

Not always about the money. These guys want to be HCs.

Traylor is one of the best TX HS football coaches of all time with deep ties to East Texas. If SFA was smart they would go hard after Traylor...
