100% agree. Don't think he's slimy or lacks morals in the slightest. Asked about that whole situation earlier on here because I was getting fed up with people on our boards saying that.

The mgoblog board is surprisingly sour on Miles, but I think a lot of that comes from certain people on the site not liking Miles.

I'm not sure it's exactly the Lloyd faction. It's mostly guys on mgoblog that I don't think felt RR should have been fired. I also don't believe Brian (the creator of mgoblog) is that high on Miles either, which is probably why a lot of other posters aren't...

And a possible fourth plane -- a Piper Cub that flew from Ann Arbor down to Hilton Head within minutes of the Michigan branded plane departing for Baton Rouge

Doubt this plane has anything to do with anything... lots of folks head to Hilton Head but the timing seemed coincidental.
Theory is that Brandon or someone involved with UM coaching search left Dallas and used the NetJets plane to come to Baton Rouge and on to Savannah and Westchester.
Not sure how Savannah and Westchester play in but Lloyd Carr lives in Hilton Head and Michigan's search firm is in NYC along with one of their major booster. This is all speculation.
What isn't speculation is that a Michigan plane has been parked at BTR for over 5 hours now. That's an indisputable fact that confirms all the reports that Miles will meet with Michigan. Some kind of meeting is going to happen.
Remember Michigan is using a search firm specifically so they can keep things on the down low as much as possible. Why in the hell they'd fly a Michigan branded plane into BTR is beyond me but otherwise they've been trying to keep things out of the public eye as much as possible.

fans are so fickle. Had Boise State beat Nevada, Peterson might be getting more attention than Patterson. IMO, what he's done at BSU is more impressive than Patterson at TCU. Texas has way more recruits to pick from than BSU, but Peterson still finds a way to assemble some amazing talent. Not saying that BSU's record would be the same if they were in a BCS conference, but they would do well with this year's talent in any BCS conference.

I think the issue with Peterson is the fact that the last two guys from Boise crashed and burned badly, Dirk Cutter (sp?) and Hawkins. I'm not so high on Peterson, however if he went to another school and had the same results in the Pac 10, I would jump on the wagon. I need to see it happen not at Boise.
