Seriously makes me question posters intentions.

Jones has had a successful run at coordinator and coached under Aranda. More experienced than either of our offensive guys and Nielson.

If you can't see the differences here, I have to seriously question your intentions.

You can make the argument he has more experience than the offensive guys.

I can’t see the argument where his resume is better than Nielsen’s.

Shouldn’t have gone with Nielsen on this one. Nielsen is one of the best young coaches in the NFL with ultra success.

Its obviously hard to get excited about someone with this much white space on their resume but O didn't pull this name out of a hat. He asked Brady for a name on offense and he asked Aranda for a name on defense.

I don't get it, I don't love it, I don't know how this is an LSU level hire, but apparently Aranda does. So.

He does. He's actually called successful defenses whereas Peetz has never been a coordinator.

He's been a successful D-coordinator. Nielson is a career positional specialist with a short stint as assistant DC.

The desperation to connect him to Aranda is odd

Because Peetz and Mangas are coming to run Brady’s offense. They aren’t bringing their own plays/rewriting the whole playbook. They will tweak it and improve upon it. That’s what they have been brought in to do.

This hire will have to basically scrap the whole D from last year and start from scratch. Or he should do that because it was terrible.

That’s the difference you race baiter.

Well that's how we got here. Again, it's not like O spun some wheel of chance, he asked Aranda for a name. This feels dicey as hell and I don't like it but last time Aranda recommended a DC to someone it was Jim Leonhard.

"After a long search, #LSU finally is about to land its new defensive coordinator in the 41-year-old Jones.
Comes recommended by Dave Aranda."

Why would seek the advice from a man who’s style of D he repeatedly slammed ?

So, thinking LSU felt the pressure to find a black defensive coordinator after everything we heard following the Pelini firing is racist?

My response was to the guy who put up the racism GIF.

Maybe you shouldn't post on the message board if you don't know how to read it.
