I'm not gonna melt regardless. I didn't melt when O was hired. I thought we could've done better but I saddled up and got ready to ride.

There's an easy case to be made that Dabo would be the #1 best hire that we, or anyone could make right now. Yes, Saban is the GOAT coach but he's old and on his way out. Dabo is the second most successful college coach of the past ten years and I don't think it's particularly close. Great recruiter. Players seem to love him. Yes, he can be a bit annoying in how he comports himself, but he's a high-character guy as far as I can tell. Don't know why LSU fan base wouldn't be over the moon if we got him. I know I would be. Problem is I don't see him wanting to leave Clemson.

Dabo is just O on steroids. The next Coach Either Specializes in either offense or defense. No more position coaches , because you have to rely on a good OC and DC for success

meh....I mean at this point saban has to nail his OC hire every go around. Many of them do to some degree.

Additionally, expect the La Legislative Women’s Caucus to pick apart every detail of this hire. It isn’t rocket science where we are in this process to figure this out.

I wouldn’t melt but I’d be disappointed. And Dabo without Venables is a recipe for disaster.
