Should Woodward try to convince him he's better suited to the college game? If he did come, could he talk Brady into coming with him?

He is threatening to take play calling duties away from him. Do a little research please.

Rhule would be an outstanding coach for lsu. I think he's watching to see if Franklin leaves penn state though, he'd take that job in a heartbeat

Brady isn’t leaving the NFL. When are some of you going to understand this?

Rhule would be a great hire and anyone that would not like it is an idiot

He might not have much of a choice here shortly . His boss isn't exactly pleased with his offensive production.

On the list of coaches with 0% possibility of actually being the next LSU coach. Rhule is #2, only behind Nick Saban for me.

Tell me more about what makes him great. What are some of his signature wins in college football? Other accomplishments?

Tell me you don't know anything about college football without telling me you don't know anything about college football.

He took a pile of ashes at Baylor after Art Briles burned that program to the ground and had them winning 11 games 3 years later. Before that he took Temple from nothing and won 10 games two years in a row. Dude is a great great coach. He's in the NFL where he belongs and will be staying there for a while.

He's not coming to LSU.

0 chance.

Yes, he did. Do you know that in 3 years at Baylor he did not beat a single ranked team?

And at Temple he beat two, #20 Navy and #21 E. Carolina.

He is obviously a good coach, but he does not have a resume that says great.

I think Rhule would be a fantastic long term hire
What he did at Baylor with less talent is pretty impressive

He's obviously a great hire, but he has a better gig than anything in college. Blank checkbook and nearly full control with a franchise owner that cares more about winning than making money. It wouldn't hurt for Woody to reach out feelers, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

The only thing that gives me hope is with Darnold looking like a flop, no Watson, weak QB class, he could see the writing on the wall, life isn’t long in the NFL with no viable QB

Didn't Petrino leave the NFL to go back to college?

No he isnt. He was asked by a reporter if he was considering taking over play calling and he said no.

Like his experience coaching both sides of the ball. Dudes been a D-line coach, linebacker coach, tight end coach, QB coach, special teams coach and OC. He knows both sides of the ball with expertise in offense, college and NFL experience. This is as close to a sure thing as we are going to find. . .

Now THAT would be an interesting hire. He’s a really good college coach. He hasn’t done great in the NFL but not many have.
