With that logic just hire any unemployed former NFL coach
You're not very good at logic.
The argument isn't "the fact that he has been subpar as an NFL coach makes him a good college candidate."
The argument is "the fact that he has been subpar as an NFL coach doesn't make him a bad college candidate."
Also, i don't really understand all this talk about how he's supposedly been so bad. The panthers were fricking 5-11 last year. They're currently 5-7, despite a significant downgrade at QB.
I would love to meet the person who expected rhule to be BETTER than 5-7 at this point in the season. That person was either wildly unrealistic about team expectations overall or LOVES sam darnold or both.

I never said he was a bad hire, he's a guy anyone can get at anytime.

Shula was actually able to move the ball with Horse Face, heck, they probably have the best all around player in Christian. They literally can't move the ball right now... it makes Les Miles offense look great.
I take it you don't live near NC, this was old news last year.

Yes your thinking is a very legitimate concern.

Yea and Nick Saban chose Daunte Culpepper over Drew Brees as his qb
That technically is not true. The team doctor basically made that decision, and Saban made the call from the Drs recommendation about their ability to return from their injuries

So basing everything just off him at Carolina

Rhule on toughness
He is a program builder and a player builder. I can see pros turned off by his culture but I think college kids will be all in on his style.

he also never won a big game in college.
May not even be his biggest win, but in 2015 he beat James Franklin/Penn State 27-10 while he was at Temple.

You have to have a true franchise QB to do well in the NFL. The Panthers don’t have one.
And McCafrey has started and finished a grand total of 6 of 33 Games that Rhule coached.
Ask Sean Payton about coaching in the NFL without a franchise QB and Running back

1) Panthers have no energy
2) Carolina Panthers cannot adjust under Matt Rhule
4) Carolina Panthers are never properly prepared
To argue these 3 points - How did they beat the top team in the NFC, Arizona Cardinals 34-10 a couple weeks ago?
Posted on 11/29/21 at 1:28 pm to tigersaint74
The biggest concern is Teddy Bridgewater. Rhule can't evaluate QBs and you have to question his OC hire. The best thing to happen to Bridgewater was to be run out of town by Rhule and Brady.

My only concern is how long the erection would last.

That team didn’t have Murray or Hopkins

Rhule is the guy y'all want, not Aranda...Although Aranda is a good coach, and I think he'd do well, Rhule is the one who actually built the foundation of that program.
He's a proven program and culture builder.
No. That would Art Briles. But, because of politics LSU won't touch Daddy Briles.

I don't know who that dude is in your avatar, maybe I should but I don't, regardless I am starting to hate him purely because of your posts

I have never said I loved Ed or even implied it. You're a delusional insane fan that makes shite up to make yourself feel better.
As far as candidate... the 1st and 2nd tier guys are gone.

Didn't realize they played defense too. Explains why they gave up 34 pts.
