Yes, there is a huge difference between coaching in the NFL as opposed to in college, but if Matt Rhule IS the guy, it's hard not to be concerned these same 5 reasons will not carry over if he goes back to coaching college ball. He was successful at turning around 2 programs (Temple and Baylor), but what are the chances he can do the same with LSU if 1 or more of the below are or become an issue?

1) Panthers have no energy
2) Carolina Panthers cannot adjust under Matt Rhule
3) Matt Rhule’s made terrible personnel choices
4) Carolina Panthers are never properly prepared
5) Matt Rhule’s personality

With that logic just hire any unemployed former NFL coach.

The Panthers are a mess, but somehow you guys think that guy and Brady are geniuses. Even Shula was able to somewhat move the ball with Horse Face.

I take it you don't live near NC, this is nothing new up that way.

Surely not melting over the downvotes, but why? Are these not legitimate concerns?

He also coached Baylor coming off of brutal sanctions to a Sugar Bowl and Temple to double digit wins.

Are you saying every former NFL coach was previously a successful college head coach?

You didn’t even follow the logic correctly.

Mad I've been laughing at the stupid people on this board for months.

I know LSU is different.

All of sudden the white whale is a genius that can't move the ball further than 20 yards.

Successful at what? What did he win? Define successful.

You've made 128 posts today saying the exact same thing about Rhule.
You think I'm over-exaggerating that number, I am not.

Rhule is the guy y'all want, not Aranda...Although Aranda is a good coach, and I think he'd do well, Rhule is the one who actually built the foundation of that program.

He's a proven program and culture builder.

129

The white whale is now the coach of a team that can get 200 yards of offense against Atlanta.

Hype is the problem.
