Apparently multiple NFL teams brought him in as a consultant this year and were starting to incorporate some of his ideas.

I really didn’t think he was a good coach. His gimmicky offense shite was embarrassing to roll out as a major program, and we just never looked like a good offense out there. Combine that with his awful personality and I completely understand why he’s been out of coaching.
No clue why an NFL franchise would bring him in as a QB specialist considering his QB track record isn’t impressive.

His offense gave Venables fits, and he had two wide open TD passes against Bama but Etling couldn't throw a completion to them. His offense is legit.
