A lot of you posters will be distraught after next season if that blind squirrel finds an acorn.
And it could very well happen too as there is a shite ton of talent on the team. I'm still ecstatic that Les is no longer the coach.

You can talk about all of that. But to think this is all on O is not realistic. And I'm not defending O and saying he is the right man. But there is history with Canada that warrants questioning him as well. Why has he moved every 2 years? And I'm not saying it wouldn't have been interesting to see what he would do his second year. But he came knowing who the quarterback would be and there were all kinds of endorsements when he got here that he could work with any QB in his system etc. He even said it himself. There is blame to go around on all of this. And O has fired other coaches and replaced them with better coaches over the last year. One being the RB coach and I think he just made an improvement at the Oline coaching position. The Troy loss was devastating. No doubt. But prior to that we were leading the nation practically in pre snap penalties from every position and the hurry up was causing even more. So something had to give at some point to give these guys a chance to learn this system. But that's all past. I'm going to wait to see who actually takes the job over. It it is members of the current staff, I'll melt then.

I imagine at one point early on at LSU Canada said to himself "THIS guy is a head coach at a major school?" That had to grind his gears to no end.

He could learn how to do the social aspect of being a HC that Saban hates, but has learned how to do. If I could control things, I’d almost send him there for 2 years and then have him come back as HC in 2 years.

Looks like we'll reload on receivers with what we have and the studs coming in. They'll be thrown to with better arms. Sure hope it's not Steve as the OC and O booms us with a home run hire.

Can you blame Canada??? I mean, if i am hired to do a job and I am being paid the most money for my job across the country and "my boss" wont let me do my job..... I'd be pissed too!
