Man this board can change quickly

Yesterday Riley was target #1 and was the biggest hire in College football history. Today we didn’t even offer him and he’s running from the SEC. I guess I can get on board with whatever story we want to make us feel better. Truth is that LSU got outmatched by a west coast has been.

I still want Riley and think he would have been perfect at LSU, but even OU is saying he is running from the SEC. It is fairly obvious.

This is the only thing that makes sense. If he didn’t want out of the SEC he would have just stayed at Oklahoma if he didn’t want to come to LSU.

You are simple minded.
Riley absolutely would have been one of if not the the biggest hires ever.
And it’s not the story here, but from Oklahoma that pinned his motivation to go to USC to evading the SEC.

That’s exactly what you’re doing by saying this comment.
LSU could easily have their guy all along and don’t want anyone to shine a light on that, just as easy as you saying we got outmatched by USC.

He's the same guy he was yesterday though. 
So either people were poor judges of his character, or this is just sour grapes.
And if you were a poor judge of his character, maybe you're also misjudging some other guys that may do better here than you think.

or Riley wanted no part of the SEC...if OU was staying in the Big 12 he would not be going anywhere...he basically had one to two teams to deal with every year...he just went to a conference with the same type competition...he will only have to deal with Oregon and Utah basically every year...
