D line coach at Tennessee and Auburn before that. Always has great dlines and can recruit. Was close to getting Walter Nolan whose in the portal now. We need a vet like him at that position who has skins on the wall and recruits with the best of them.

Guy was past his prime at UGA when he left and that was nearly a decade ago

He is on the older side but I think we could realistically get him.

He may bringing Walter Nolen to Tenn. I doubt he's going anywhere.

He's done well at Tenn and I don't think 57 is too old. Denbrock is 59 and he's doing just fine.

It’s all part of recruiting. Teams are negative about Steeples bc he “doesn’t have skins on the wall”. Hire an older coach and oh he’ll retire soon or he’s past his prime.

Obsolete in the NIL era. The game has passed him by.

Pete Jenkins is a 100 yrs old. If you can coach then you can coach. He’s obviously still able to relate to kids at his age because he’s getting the most out of them.

To clarify, Rodney at DL coach wouldn’t be bad. I’m pretty sure before the OP edited, he suggested as DC, which I think would be bad.
