Works for me. In July I was in Europe. Wife and I were having dinner with a Canadian couple. They told us on their flight they shut down the entire meal service because one person had a peanut allergy. No food, no snacks for 12 hours on a transatlantic flight.

The heart of it is that Bama is heads and shoulders ahead of other programs, at least until this year (including LSU).
LSU is a top 10 program. Bama, under Saban, has been something entirely different. Bama isn't going away, but under different leadership I expect there to be a lot more parity among Bama, Auburn and LSU (and maybe A&M).
While I give credit to bama for their stretch run over the last 4 years, I do not say that they were head and shoulders above everyone else. If that was the case, then Bama would have not lost the games that they did. Get real, before Saban Bama was not that good, and after Saban, the return to mediocrity will begin. Do you honestly think that Bama will pull the same caliber players without Saban?

I read that email early this AM. When I re-read it I can't tell if it is 8M per from UT and then 7-8M extra total (like a signing bonus) from boosters or if it is 7-8M extra per from boosters.

The biggest thing that is being underestimated here is the Texas vs aTm relationship - Bama v LSU or Bama v Auburn or anyone else does not hold up to their hatred.
Most people I know hate OU much more than Aggie, but we're product of post 98'. I don't think any of this has to do with aTm. Simply, Mack has failed to do a 5 million dollar job the past 4 years and Saban is seen as the best possible hire.

Barring Mack bitching out, the meeting is scheduled this afternoon before the banquet.

Well, I disagree and agree somewhat. I disagree that Bama was wasn't head and shoulders ahead of everyone else. Not to say they couldn't be taken down, but they dominated during that period in a manner we haven't really seen, especially in this conference. Teams like UF and AU and LSU were able to get them once and a while, but while UF and AU and LSU had other slip ups, Bama generally didn't. That's the difference.
Now, I agree that Alabama will return to pre Saban form to some extent, but they'll be better than their dark days. They'll be a 9-3/10-2 yearly team, like I expect LSU and Auburn and UGA will be. I wouldn't call them mediocre, though.

I wonder what Saban eats on his jet.
I can confirm that Les steals his pilot's Johnny's pizza and manages to spread crust crumbs around a 10ft radius around his seat.
