lost to Ole Miss
Yeah, and LSU has beaten Aubun all but one time (2010) in the span that Saban has been in Alabama, while Alabama is 4-3 against them in that span. Which just so happens to be LSU's record against Ole Miss since 2007...
Crazy how rivalries can work, no?

Right. Saban came into a clusterfrick, we handed him full control and said fix it.
I don't think that's what will happen at Texas. It's a different kind of clusterfrick. Instead of letting him run the show, they would try to pull him in every direction.

Jimmies Rustled
Don't forget the 31 to 17 loss to the Utes in the '09 Sugar Bowl, not one of Nicky's best motivational moments.

Failing to see how that post even made sense. My posts got deleted, not me.

You're given your own board with the rest of the SEC which we don't post on. We don't have that. And a board for pure speculation which this is. And you bitch.
It's people like you Terry Saban was talking about.

whenever I hear one of these Johnny come Lately idiot talk about Iron Bowl 2013 being the worst loss ever for Alabama I get a lil pissed when I was in school we lost to Louisiana Monroe and ended up in the damn Independence Bowl and the ULM boys made sure to put up a billboard to remind all our fans heading to Shreveport that we lost to LOUISIANA MONROE losing to #4 Auburn to deny a three peat, which means we won 2 in a row you spoiled prick, sucks but try not to cry into your beer when your in NOLA getting ready to play Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl
Wow.
A Bama fan with some perspective.

that was a kick in the crotch but that was going to the Sugar Bowl after years of mediocrity so it wasn't so bad

Yeah no one is gonna buy this for a second
The show I came to see is not NS leaving. The show I came to see is the "Rustled Jimmies Show"....and I am getting that in spades.
If LNS leaves it will simply be an encore.

You and ChemE can hang without losing it, glad there is some sanity on both sides here, not entirely lunatic fringe.

What I'm saying is, the way to fight that is to say GTFO. LSU's situation was really bad in the 80s when Arnsparger took over and he took shite from no one. He's actually a lot like Saban in football philosophy, demeanor, personality. A bit less snippity tho.

look there's a reason the school with the most resources in all of college football has won 1 in the past 40 years
And what reason is that? During the MB era, were literally 1 game away from playing in 3 more title games.
2001 - Lost to Colorado in the BigXII championship game. A turnover filled game against a team we beat 41-7. We would've likely got stomped in the Title game though.
2004 - Only lost to OU 12-0.
2005 - Won NT
2008 - Crabtree catch / Gideon INT Drop / Pollsters voting us over OU away from NT.
2009 - Lose a competitive game against Bama with Garrett Gilbert as our QB most of the game.
Yeah, I know. Should have, could have, would have, but whatever "reason" you have that Texas can't go on an Alabama-eque run of national titles is bs.
