If Nick goes will Les stay, makes me wonder, they are part of the recipe and you go changing the recipe you get a different cake

No but Saban did lose to ULM.

whenever I hear one of these Johnny come Lately idiot talk about Iron Bowl 2013 being the worst loss ever for Alabama I get a lil pissed

when I was in school we lost to Louisiana Monroe and ended up in the damn Independence Bowl and the ULM boys made sure to put up a billboard to remind all our fans heading to Shreveport that we lost to LOUISIANA MONROE

losing to #4 Auburn to deny a three peat, which means we won 2 in a row you spoiled prick, sucks but try not to cry into your beer when your in NOLA getting ready to play Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl

Article does not way, probably this morning, as it mentions the meeting was supposed to take place yesterday, but Powers was delayed with the vote of confidence issue.

Saban stepped into the same situations at LSU and Bama that is UT now.
I'm not gonna speak for LSU. But Alabama's situation was not even close to the current UT situation. At all.

The bammers don't understand that Les is not afraid of little Nicky.

And they don't understand that most of us don't care where NS goes...we just love watching the delusional meltdown.

Well it was probably the worst loss in terms of shock value with the last play being something that has been done about 3 times ever.

I agree with you though, I think if Saban does go (I don't think he will at this time) that kind of loss and the fan reaction may be one of those reasons. Hell I'd be pissed too if I had just won 3 of the last 4 National Championships and get berated because we couldn't win another

the way i see it is that it doesnt matter where he goes....nick will recruit louisiana hard whether at texas or bama. with the new play off system, the emphasis on going undefeated goes away

Hey Chicken, I don't have any experience running a thread like this. If there's anything that needs to be done OP wise let me know.

Please and thank you.

No it wasn't. But it was still bad. I recall a turn down by Rich Rod and lots of uncertainty before Saban said yes. End result was a winner, but there were some nervous days there.

You had one fiasco after another. Dubose scandal, Mike Price scandal, Franchione bolting, booster problems (complete with mysterious deaths), talk of the death penalty. Then you get squeaky clean Shula to come on and he was eaten by the wolves.

So you're right, Bamas situation was far worse.
