oh no man, I'm not saying he's gone, neither did Savage.
we mainly talked about the Senior Bowl.
but when I briefly brought up Saban he did have a serious look on his face. I'm not sure if it was b/c several people had already brought it up to him and he was tired of addressing it or if there is really something to this thing.
he is really good friends with several people I work with from the Cooper/T. Smith Corporation. A few guys in my division, CSA, have known him for years.
not to mention the big man himself, Mr. Cooper is of course a booster for the University of Alabama. Angus Cooper was very instrumental in helping to select Phil Savage as the new director of the Senior Bowl when Steve Hale stepped down.
I've met him a few times before, talking about Savage, he's a real nice guy.
didn't feel like typing all of that last night after a long day's work and several beers at Callahan's
