There’s talent already here that’s not being utilized properly. I think there will be an adjust period if Tucker goes back to the 3-4 defense. Also, he’s in a rich recruiting area unlike Michigan State.

Are you comparing MSU's opponents to LSU's? While LSU may have more talent, so do its opponents to date. Conversely, MSU may have modest talent, but so have its awful opponents to date. The point is that coaching against equivalent talent, the MSU defense has given up approximately the same amount as LSU.

Yes, I am comparing MSU opponents to LSUs. I believe they have the toughest SOS remaining. Tucker’s candidacy for the LSU job should be contingent on how he finishes the remainder of the season.

This didn’t prove anything. In 2016, they took over a bad Richt team finished ranked 36th, this was a rebuild year. The next year they were in the championship game with the 6th rated defense.
What did you try to prove here? I hope you understand that there’s a lot more nuance to the game than where a team is defensively rated at the end of the year.

He pulls off some big wins then he will get a close look. But can he recruit? I watched some of his press conferences and interviews. Very soft spoken and flat. Not the most motivational speaker.

If I were an LSU fan biggest issue I would have w/Tucker is how he can't be trusted to stick around. If he has any success he'll leave for the NFL as fast as he can the exact same way he was did to Colorado when he left a booster event where he was telling everyone how much he loved CU and immediately flew to Michigan State w/o even giving them a chance to match.

His defense has given up 14 TDs in 7 games. Again, if he finishes the season strong it’s his job to lose
