I don't care what you guys say about Corey. He will never leave and he will have some serious talent at LSU.
He might not have started DBU but it became known as LSU under Corey.

But yet, he left once and held LSU hostage yearly w/ money grabs.

My biggest complaint about Raymond. He was always one of the highest paid coaches at his position while at LSU and every year he threatened to leave.

My hope is that this put him in his place and cooled his ego.
I don't think he forgot how to coach or recruit, he just got fat and happy.

So what? That's what assistant coaches do, if they can. That's what Hankton is doing right now.

Forget about his money blackmail. His recruiting success went down over the year. And I give him 0 credit for Stingley out of Baton Rouge, BTW.

Looks like the recruits are excited about CR's possible return.

I understand why some people don't want him back, but it seems some of our new recruits want him and that's good enough for me.

You don't do it every year when you're one of, if not THE, highest paid coaches in that role in the country. Period.
I have negotiated raises professionally, I'm sure most have, but it is bad taste to do it every single year under threat of leaving when you're received significant raises each year prior and you're in the 1% of salary for your job.
I'm not saying I don't want Corey, but I hope he has changed in this regard after leaving and being fired.

This is largely exaggerated. Entire program was swirling around the Orgeron toilet bowl and he was still pulling in some talent. Attrition was just really bad across the board.

That's silly. The Stingley's have said he's a big reason he loved LSU for so long. There is no guarantee Saban doesn't come in and get Stingley if he hated our DB coach.

In life, you will figure out in an instance that the grass is not all greener

This is stupid. Highly ranked recruits from BR leave the state all the time. We can go down the list.
