Brian Kelly is a good coach, and he'd bring stability. That being said, it's hard to be enthusiastic about LSU hiring him.

He's 60 and didn't drink from the fountain of youth like Saban.

Kelly is a great coach. He’s also probably the worst cultural fit for Baton Rouge imaginable.

Would be a total dick move after becoming ND's all time winningest coach (the same record that Lou Holtz left ND over because he didn't want to pass Rockne) to bolt immediately after.

But Kelly is a dick so I guess it fits the narrative

Now that I think about, Brees was at ND this weekend. Maybe Scottie is recruiting him to be Lincoln’s QB coach.

Brees is claiming his Covid year of eligibility.

Kelly just doesn’t move the needle.

Nope. I mean, he'd be better than O. But Kelly is way down on my list

I’ve been telling you guys it’s Brian Kelly. The guy is just what LSU needs.

He will come in with his people and overhaul the program overnight.

Any concerns about his age? He's 60 right now. He'll be starting at a new program at age 61. Think he has the stamina for starting over?
