With that attitude, there was absolutely zero reason to fire BK then. Might as well saved a few bucks and lost

So plan B will sign a contract tomorrow?
The drop off to plan B or C or D is not worth the rush to give up on Kiffin yet. Besides. Nobody knows what is going on behind closed doors. LSU could have the commitment they need.

Hey. You should tell LSU that. See what they say.

Kiffin wants LSU or Ole Miss to make the decision for him by either pulling the offer or suspending him from coaching the postseason.
Neither LSU or Ole Miss is budging. Personally, I think LSU is crazy letting him drag this out another day, if not more. You either want to be here with all of you or you don't want to be here at all. There is no third option. We saw how things played out with BK not really wanting to be here.

LSU better have someone else primed and ready to go.
Again the options this coaching cycle extremely poor. When does a coach like Sumrall get offered top 10 money from Florida($10 million a year) when he’s never coached a Power 5 game? When the pool is absolutely dog crap.

I see a lack of commitment to ole miss but I’m not seeing any actual binding commitment to LSU

You know contracts don’t get signed for months after hiring right?

LSU won’t have a signed contract until next year. They take months for the lawyers to work out. They can sign a term sheet in the interim.

Worst poster on this site by a mile. Consistently has low iq takes, and has the emotional control of a 5 year old.

It’s true though, Kelly was hired in November, he didn’t have an official contract until April or so

The harm in waiting with a signed contract? Probably hurts you to some extent regarding recruiting and assembling a staff, but not insurmountable.
The harm in waiting without a signed contract (or term sheet, really)? You risk him changing his mind and forcing you to start looking for someone else in January.
